Spam email from WordPress?

I’ve begun to receive emails recently that say they are coming from WordPress. The subject says: “New User Registration” The body says: “New user registration on your blog” and includes a user name and email address.

I use 1shoppingcart for subscribers to my blog, so I am assuming these “new user” emails are spam??

Can anyone advise? (WP Support is down until the 7th)
