Spam comments with duplicate ip

    Hi,
    Antispam Bee detects spam very well. All spam comments I receive seem to be CSS Hack type.

    I have checked “Delete comments by spam reasons”.
    If I select “Local DB Spam” spam comments with the same ip are not deleted.
    If I select “CSS Hack” spam comments are deleted.

    I’m wondering why the “Local DB Spam” does not work.

    The blog is in Finnish and in English. The admin area is in Finnish.

    If I select “Local DB Spam” spam comments with the same ip are not deleted.

    For a comment it must match the IP, the URL and the email. URL and email is optional, but if it is provided, it will be used for the matching check.

    For trackbacks obviously the email is not used, but IP and URL.

    IP and URL are the same in several spam comments, the email not.

    I found this in the documentation (outdated?):
    Local DB Spam Commenter’s IP address or email matches one already marked as spam”

    Is the “CSS Hack” deletion criteria safe?
