SPAM comments are being sent to SendFox

    Hello there,

    Last few month I’m being bombed by a spammers, so I need to mark their “comments” as spam, and block that IP’s in WP settings to not be able to leave comments from that IP’s.

    The problem is after that I need to go to Sendfox comments, and remove that contacts / emails from the List.

    Would be great if you add new setting / checkbox that enables / disables sending contacts to Sendfox after comments were Approved by site admin.

    If site admin approves comment, than comment goes to Sendfox.
    If admin doesn’t approve comment, or marks it as a Spam or other status, the comment doesn’t go to Sendfox.

    Hi Dmitry @wpbluefox,

    Thanks for reporting this issue! This is really important.

    I am going to add checkbox which allows to optionally send contact info to SendFox only after comment is approved by admin.

    I will add it in about 1-2 weeks and release the update,
    along with one other nice feature ??

    I am also going to update you in this topic.

    Hi Dmitry!

    The fix is done. We are currently testing it before the release later this week with a couple of other new features like SendFox integration for Divi Builder and Gutenberg Email Opt-ins. I will let you know.

    That sounds very good!

    One more note:
    All Spam IPs I add to Settings – Discussion – Disallowed Comment Keys
    When I receive another comment from that IPs, I dont see them in WP Admin.
    But I DO see them in SendFox – Contacts.

    Wordpress deems them as spam (as I marked IPs), but your plugin still picks them up and send to SendFox.

    Please, make sure to not send any contacts to SendFox except approved ones.

    Hi @wpbluefox Dmitry!

    I have just released version 1.1.0 for WP SendFox plugin.

    It includes new Divi Builder Email Optin integration, Gutenberg Email Optin block and improved filtering for emails coming from WordPress Comment Form.

    Now emails are only submitted to your SendFox list from comment forms, if they are either auto-approved on submission (no checks or by antispam) or manually approved by admin.

    Please, give it a try and let me know, if anything ??
