  • An outdated anti-spam plugin would be my best thought on this…if they have been successful in implanting such, you site may be infected with not yet discovered malware….your site is not new, so look at your db and remove it.

The site isn’t new but it was recently migrated from NetSol to BlueHost and I reinstalled the entire site from a saved export. Could the spam notice have migrated over from the old install on NetSol? Do you suppose IntenseDebate could have something to do with it? And, I’m sorry for being so lame but I wouldn’t know what to look for when it comes to malware. Any insight on educating myself?

Thanks very much for taking the time to answer this.

If there was malware in the files at the time of the export, it would still exist on your Bluehost account. Here are some articles to help you search for malware on your WordPress site:

You might also install a security plugin, something like WordFence:

    Good Luck!
