Hello guys. This plugin is very nice.
However, when I was doing test to see how the plugin works, some problems arose.
I visited my blog through a different browser and posted a shitty comment on a post (which was so spammy I was sure will be recognized as spam by Akismet).

As I expected, the page reloaded after submitting the comment and a message box was shown saying that dear reader, your comment has been marked as spam by our system, waiting to be approved by the admin.

But, after that, when I went to comments using different browser after logging in, I saw that that comment was not marked as spam by Akismet but shown as just a pending comment.

Why do you think this happened? I would like to hear your thoughts on it!

Is it because that Akismet saw that the IP address was the same as the admin and that is why it did not mark it as a spam? And if so, then how could it notify that it was marked as a spam?

    Thank you.

    Hi @theadarshmehta

I think this question should be asked in the Akismet support forum. What this plugin do is only notify when a comment is detected as SPAM, that’s all. The management and comments distribution around Akismet is done by itself, with no irruption from this notifier.

I’m sorry your question is not answered here, but it’s not an issue for this support threads.

    Have a nice day. Regards,

    Alberto.

    Thanks for the reply.

Never mind though. Already deleted the plugin. After commenting, it takes the visitor to the top of the page and not to the comment again (i.e. after posting comment, normally the page gets reloaded and then the use sees the comment he has posted in the comments section, but using this plugin, it scrolls to the top of the page) which I do not find good.

Hope you got what I am saying.
