You won’t be able to get to the site because host has shut it down for form spam email. It looks like CleanTalk has been allowing a ton of “legitimate” spam this week. Which is unusual because it usually blocks most of it. Do you know of any recent hacks that I could look for to find the source of the problem?

    Hello, Jessie.

    Thank you for your request.

We need more info about this issue.

Please, mark records in your Anti-Spam Log if our service made wrong decision:
Your Anti-Spam Log [ https://cleantalk.org/my/show_requests?int=week ] —> choose your website in the pop-down menu —> there are buttons “Spam” and “Not Spam” under every record —> mark records using these buttons.

    The guide is here: https://cleantalk.org/faq#feedback_spam

We ask you to mark at least several records if there are too many of them.

For each mark you get 1 bonus day to your subscription and we update our database and get feedback for analysis.

We apologize for the inconveniences caused.

    Write back anytime.

    Best regards.

Ok. I will do this. There are over 1,000 approved that are actually spam and it looks like they are already in the list of known spammers. I will go through and mark them as spam, but my question is, could the hackers have made a rule to tell the plugin to allow it… this just started happening in the past couple of days.

    Thank for your cooperation!

Base upon our experience it happens when spammers start to use fresh IPs or e-mails. And in about 24 hours they all will be blacklisted by our filters.

They can not make rule to bypass filters as there are many tests from the side of the CleanTalk plugin and from the side of the CleanTalk Cloud.

Additionally we give you a Security Licence for free. Your Security Licence will end simultaneously with your Anti-Spam Licence.

Security plugin features are listed here:
    https://cleantalk.org/help/security-features

Please, follow this guide to install the Security Plugin if you need it:
    https://cleantalk.org/install?platform=wordpress-security

The plugin’s WordPress catalog page is here:

    Best wishes.

Ok. I will install it if I ever find the breech. I can only access via ftp and the database right now because my hosting service shut me down. So I can’t do anything from the WordPress interface right now. I was just hoping for some direction in finding the source of the problem.
