After updating there are now spam/ad screens displayed on the WordPress admin interface. These can’t be removed.

You obviously face issues with your local installation – or hurried more to provide a bad review, at the same time that you never provided a good one till today, but thats fine.

Here’s the proof that notice is dissmisable: https://i.gyazo.com/f0c0ed5d55a710f942820254c31c1002.gif

I hope that this will help you identify the root cause of the issue you are experiencing there and make you edit your unfair review.

It’s unfair to give a one-star review: for what is essentially a free plugin that works flawlessly.

Yes: 3.2 had an issue of not being able to dismiss the advert, but the latest does indeed dismiss it.

Yes: it’s an advert, but the author’s got to make some money somewhere, have you donated to it (??) I have, that said: limited donations are not enough to keep it going.

It’s one small popup, give the guy a break.

    5 stars all the way!

Thanks for your kind words @mrsjessicasimpson and for voluntary stepping into this.

No need to dig deeper. A perfect working update is already three days old, while, at the same time he just placed his negative review today. Its a pity seeing such shady techniques and moreover understanding that some people wont appreciate efforts of developers ??

Those bad reviews made me already started thinking about a different model for this plugin, probably a Fremium/Paid one along with a newly introduced set of features.
