Spam

  • Could definitely not appreciate the spam in our dashboards with regards to the Black Friday discount on Yoast products. I run an agency with multiple clients and this is exactly one of the reasons we take many functionalities in-house. You honestly made a fool out of us with a big banner and a flying pink bird. Maybe should switch tot All In One SEO; does the job as well, just not with the fancy dashboard animations and design. And thankfully not with spam!

    Thanks for your comment.

    You should no longer see the Black Friday banner in the backend. That said, we understand that the banner was annoying. Although it was dismissable, it was a bit buggy so last Thursday we released Yoast SEO v12.6.2 which completely removes the banner from the admin panel.
