• Hi,
On our website https://www.northamptonprevents.org we have a form where visitors can contact us and we then add their email address to our listserv.

Recently this seems to have been hacked and I need to know what to do. Who at WordPress can help resolve this issue? I am getting 5-10 ‘new’ subscribers a day, but they all have weird email extensions and look fake ( plus we never have this kind of traffic on our site).

Can anyone tell me how to make this stop?

    Ananda

What was hacked exactly? WordPress isn’t a company so there won’t be officials you can talk to.

    1) You can’t add people to your mailing list just because they e-mail you, unless they specifically ask you for it. There are anti-spam laws in the US, Canada, UK, France and more

    2) Do you have some kind of captcha on that form?
