Spacious excerpt page missing a hint for more

    I like the excerpt function but what bothers me too much is that a sentence just ends somewhere (for the reader, only I know itis 55 words and more to come) without a hint that the post is going on elsewhere.

    It looks like I hectically had to leave my desk when posting, or worse…
    In other words: it looks very bad to me.

    Why doesn′t it show the normal […] or similar? Or an option [read more] to choose?

    Can I do that somewhere without having to change any css/php/html? I am an amateur working with CMS, and also I don′t want to re-do everything after an update.
