Spacious Business Template doesn't accept shortcodes

  • I created a custom home page with the business template of Spacious, and I want to add a JQuery calendar to it (WP Fullcalendar)
    The calendar plugin instructions say that I should use a shortcode. I tried putting the shortcode on the page itself, add it as a PHP code in another page which I load through a widget, but none of these options work. The WP Fullcalendar doesn’t have a widget I can insert directly.

    The calendar shortcode works properly when I put it in a page with the default template, but if I Use the default template I lose the other nice segments of the template.

    How do I proceed

    When I add the shortcode on the page the calendar displays fine one the bottom of the page.
    Since you have used static front page option have you tried adding the code on the selected front page?
