    Catlist is putting a return after the title of the post it is displaying, and not after the excerpt. See the section Recent Blog Posts in the linke page.

    I would like to have the title, with the link, then on the next line the excerpt, and after the excerpt a blank line, and the next article.

    Add excerpt_tag=p to your shortcode. The 20px bottom margin will then be applied to the excerpt same at it is applied to the title.

    Zymeth25, thank you. I have spent hours trying to figure that out, and it worked fine. If I can be greedy and ask another question. As you note the space after the title is the same as the space after the excerpt. I would llke the to more the excerpt up, so that the excerpt starts on a new line, but no space between the title and the excerpt.

    Actually, if I can really be greedy, I would like the output to be TITLE – EXCERPT, like

    If you have basic knowledge of HTML and CSS, this can be done very easily with a few simple styles. If you do not, I can think of a simple example later.
