• Hi! I’m hoping someone can figure out what’s going on with the spacing between paragraphs and images on my site, specifically this page: https://ampedforeducation.org/2015-baseball-trip/

I want to eliminate the gaps in between the images (day 1, 2, 3, etc) and the text underneath. In the visual editor, there doesn’t appear to be much space in between, and I can’t figure out how to get it to match up to the published page. Can anyone help? Thanks!

  • There’s an extra <p> (paragraph) tag in between the image and text. That gets generated when you hit the enter key. Take a look at the text/html editor tab to see if you can remove it. Or, delete the image and text, rewrite the text and place your cursor right before it and then insert the image with the align-left attribute.

Thanks for the response! I couldn’t find the extra <p> so I did what you suggested (delete the image and text, etc) and it doesn’t appear to have made any difference. I can live with the way it looks for now but if you have any additional suggestions, let me know!

It just occurred to me you shouldn’t use “align-left” on the image. That would be for when you want to float text around the image and may be adding the gap. The default position will be left so just remove the align left.
