    Hi,

I use the plugin for my paywall where i grab content from the post, trim to 100 words and keep formatting. Shortcode is this: [content format=true words=100]

It has been working fine up until now, but suddenly all the paragraphs have a weirdly large spacing.

I have tried removing everything else but the shortcode, and then it works fine. Can anyone help me solve this?

I know the plugin hasn’t been updated recently, so probably the problem is caused by something else?– maybe the lates WP update? But it doesn’t seem to affect anything but this specific plugin.

    Help. It looks awful.. ??

Oh, I skipped half a sentence there. What I meant was:

I have tried removing everything else but the shortcode, and the problem is still there. If I exchange the shortcode with the actual content, then it works fine.

In this case format=true dos not preserve format, it adds additional formating.

    Try

    [content words=100]

@polarracing I don’t think you’re right about that. I already tried it, and then all formatting is cleared, and in just one paragraph. So that doesn’t work either.

Meanwhile I tried rolling back to WP vers. 5.6.2, and then the problem is gone. For now I have to live with that, until either the plugin or the wordpress core is updated with a bug fix. Otherwise I have to find a developer to make a similar solution for me, so I don’t need the plugin anymore.

Did not test it with 5.7 so far.

    Tested with 5.7 – no issues –
    [content words=100 format=true]
    works as expected.
