Spaces in Thumbnail Filenames

  • It appears I have a few thumbnails with spaces in the filenames. I’m not sure how they got uploaded that way because I think WP usually replaces spaces with dashes.

    Simply Gallery seems to work fine with them EXCEPT when building the gallery in the editor (specifically, the “Items Manager” box on the sidebar). Those thumbnails show up as blank. I tried to re-upload one of the thumbnails to fix the issue and deleted the old one. However, this broke the gallery and I couldn’t edit the page anymore. Not sure how that happened.

    The reason for this post is to find out if you can fix Simply Gallery “Items Manager” so it shows thumbnails even if there are spaces in the name.

    I can only try to fix the problem that I see and understand the reason for its occurrence, or at least I can investigate. If I encounter something like this and it’s a problem in my plugin, we’ll fix it
