Spaces in the comment box

  • When I am making comments using the standard comment text box, any space formatting (leading spaces – example follows) is lost when the comment is submitted. How can I stop WordPress from removing the leading spaces? Thank you!

    Example:
    – line 1 (one space before ‘-‘)
    – line 2 (3 spaces before ‘-‘)
    – line 3 (5 spaces before ‘-‘)
