    Hi sammybotz,

I looked at the link above, but it appears that Business Directory isn’t active at this time (only the shortcode is displaying). I’m not sure what exactly is going on, but I can take a good guess. Chances are, your theme is doing something with the spacing of the layout. What you need to do is add some custom CSS to change the BD listings specifically to clean them up for your theme.

Here is an article about how to use custom CSS with Business Directory in a way that doesn’t get overwritten on upgrade of BD: https://businessdirectoryplugin.com/support-forum/faq/how-to-use-custom-styles-with-bd-2-1/

    I have enabled the plugin.

I am not that advanced to use firebug and figure what code to put in the wpbdp_custom_style.css file. Is it possible you could give me the code to put in it please?

    wpbdp_custom_style.css

    Thank you

    Hi sammybotz,

We can provide some general assistance for things like this, but if you’re not comfortable with CSS, we recommend that you hire a developer on oDesk or a similar service to help out with these kinds of site-specific customizations. https://odesk.com

Okay, just figured it would work with the default twenty-fourteen wordpress theme. Sometimes it puts spaces in between main categories and sometimes it does not. Thanks anyway.
