Spacer won’t change the spaces in visual editor

HI Everyone, I have a similar problem. When I am in my visual editor and I am trying to change 20px to 500px from the default code
spacer height=“20px”
the space doesn’t move from 20 to 500 px. Can someone help? Thank you.

What I do notice that is happening is, if I erase the 20 and type in 500, it doesn’t work. But if I leave the 20px the same and add a number between the 20px (for example 250px or 29999999990) then it moves. But if I erase the front number then nothing works.
