Space on left side of comment box and text in comment box

Hi there! Just wondering, how do I get rid of the space on the left side of the comments? I want it next to the left margin and aligned with the comment box. Also, how do I move the border or the text in the comment list? I don’t want the words touching the border. And how do I edit the text inside the comment box as someone types? Thanks very much!
