“Sorry, when creating new custom fields only letters are allowed (so no white spaces, numbers or any other character are allowed).”

Is it possible to use space on custom feed attribute?

I’m trying to make a custom feed for Google Ads DSA (dynamic search ads) and the page feed (see the template) won’t work with Google if there’s no space in the “Page URL” field.

Tried with underscore (“Page_URL”) but it’s not working with Google. Any way to use “Page URL”?

  • Hi Vousa,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

We have just pushed out a new release of the plugin with a Google DSA template in it so you no longer have to create one using the Custom Feed template.

Just update the plugin and give it a try ??

    All the best,
    Eva

Thanks for the awesome quick reply!

Tried the new DSA template, but got a blank screen after the saving this.

    Hi Vousa,

Our bad, we made a mistake with the release of the plugin. Issue should be solved now and the DSA template should work now.

    Our apologies.

    Best,
    Eva

    Hi Eva,

    seems to work now, thanks!

One more question: when I’m using Woocommerce category for the Custom Label -field, the categories are seperated by a vertical line (|). Google mentions on their support page that all labels should be separated by a semicolon (;).

Is it possible to change the vertical lines to semicolons?

    Example: “clothes|top_seller|weekend_sale” -> “clothes;top_seller;weekend_sale”

    Hi Vousa,

Yes this is possible since today’s release ??

Just update to the latest version of the plugin, clear your browsers cache and create the following rule:

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/7gcq3s5fnq67i6h/replace.png?dl=0

That should replace all double ‘verticle lines’ with semicolons for the categories.

    Hope this helps?

    All the best,
    Eva

Assuming the issue at hand either is no longer happening or solved I am going to close this issue for now (for housekeeping reasons).

Please reach out in case you do need further support on this issue.

    All the best,
    Eva
