SourceForge Direct download, without opening sourceforge for the user

    Everyone I have a project with has a few large files that I host on SourceForge, Whenever I link to the file it downloads but it redirects users to the SourceForge website in the end.

    it downloads the file without redirecting it. I need your help regarding this, have gone through the API section which seems to be too difficult to implement, can someone guide me regarding this. I am using WordPress obviously.

  • This is really a question for SourceForge. Whether or not it’s WordPress doesn’t really affect whether or not you can link to SourceForge files, or how you would do it.
