Hi, the feed on my client’s website got disconnected – probably because she changed her password. Now I have trouble reconnecting it. I tried this: https://smashballoon.com/doc/action-required-within-7-days – and asked my client for the ID / access token. Then I added the source. But now it says in the dashboard: “Source not yet used”. What does that mean?

On the front end I still get the error “No connected account for the User xxx”. And the xxx is the OLD ID – which actually deleted before I connected the new one.

Am I missing a step? How can I make the feed reconnect to the account?

    Thanks,

    Astrid

    Hey @netschmiede24,

Thank you for reaching out to us for assistance. After connecting this source, please go to Instagram Feed > All Feeds > Individual Feed settings (Pen icon) > Settings (tab) > Sources. Here, remove the existing source then select the correct one that was added. This should allow the feed to start working with the new source properly. If you have a legacy feed, this will be in the Legacy Feed options. We are soon releasing a plugin update to make this process smoother and automated.

If you still have any issues after this, let me know as we are always happy to help!

    Best regards,
    Joel

    Hi Joel,

thanks for getting back to me. I’ve now managed to add the feed again. And yes, it would be great if you can make this smoother and automated, as it seems indeed very complicated.

    Thanks,

    Astrid
