    Hi,

I receive the notification “Your IP appears in one or more spam blacklists you may want to talk to your host to resolve your IP reputation”.

Where is this being measured? I checked several blacklist tools and our IP is not appearing on any of these lists.

I find this quite a serious statement, so I hope you can share how this is being measured.

    With thanks,
    Demian

I could just release it as a plugin to wp.org I guess or as you say add as a diagnostic’ option to the setting page.

But in reality out of 10,000 installs yours is the first host that seems to have a strange (aka broken) setup ??

If it happens again the plugin is there on public github

Any feedback from your host? Is it something I can solve software wise?

    Hi @alanfuller

I found the issue. The webshop is connected through cloudflare and some DNS records (AAAA) were not present. This caused the reading through the revert server. Since I updated these records, the notification is gone. All good now.

    Thanks for all the help.

Thanks, I wonder if you have details of what missing AAAA records caused this, as perhaps I could detect the missing AAAA records and warn about them?

No, this is host specific details. The host’s server requires that an A-record and AAAA-record is present. However, in case of CloudFlare or any other CDN is detected, a warning or advise to double check the DNS. But the question is how often does this happen?

That is a good question. How often. I thank you for your collaboration on this.
