Sorting VSEL Events

  • I am trying to get my list of events to sort in chronological order, with the most current at the top. I have tried the – order=”desc” but doesn’t seem to change anything. Is there something I am missing.

    Hi Jim,

    I have updated this reply:

    It seems you’re listing events via a native category page (Archives: Events). This page is not generated by VSEL. Events are not ordered by event date.

    When displaying events from a certain category you must use this attribute:

    event_cat="your-category-slug"

    Display events from multiple categories:

    event_cat="your-category-slug-1, your-category-slug-2"

    If you just want to display all upcoming/past events, use 1 of the shortcodes.
