sorting the portfolio to different topics

    Hi Dmitry,
    is there any possibility to sort the portfolio to different topics, like “recent works“, “classic works” or “works whatever“… on my website (test.tonguc.com) for example I would like to sort to my homepage “recent works”, to storyboard-page “storyboard-portfolio” & illustration-page my illustration-portfolio. I tried to solve this problem with categories, but than I have a complicated category permalinks above and not a simply test.tonguc.com/storyboard or test.tonguc.com/illustration

    Hello Tonguc,

    Sorry for a delay. Unfortunately, this is not something that can be done out of the box. The way you did it with categories is probably the closest you can get to without coding.

    However, you can create a child theme, that would incorporate those modifications. But that will require some basic PHP/JS skills.
