Sorting the Category Posts

I was wondering when that update will happen…. as soon i might be in need of this…
I dont even mind buying the Pro version as long as it full fills the need…

What i currently need is…

– List View (Already in Pro) or The Archive type View where Exerpt of the post is only visible
– Sorting by in order of Latest Posts first
– Having it display on Index Page

Can you let me know if these things are possible? and if you are planning to have them in next version then when will it be out?

For your request, we have upgraded pro version plugin that support latest posts first (order by posted date descending) as demo.

You can create widget and shortcode as per documentation to use it on index page.

I activated it… I was also able to add it into my index page…

I dont need the search function.. so i disabled it.. but when i hover over the category a search icon still comes up from right side..

Is it possible to replace it with the Latest Post in X Category’s time ago when i hover?

I was wondering how it is going,

another feature that would help the buyers would be to allow the users to choose the order of category displaying, like right now its based on category ID right?, if it also allowed users to choose alphabetical ordered category listing, would also help….

Yeah… Categories, in alphabetical order…. The option to choose would be best… Whether we want it by Alphabatical order or by Category ID ??

We have already updated plugin to show latest post and date on accordion panel category.

We have also added following features in category and post accordion panel pro version.

– Can enable/disable post count
– Hide empty category
– Short by or Order by category name option
– Exclude certain category from accordion panel
– Option to open a category by default
– Supports option for “All” label accodion pane to load all category’s posts
– RTL Support
– Support sub-category tree view accodion panel
– Show/hide last updated post’s date on accordion panel
