    Hi guys,

I’m new to SportsPress trying to figure out if we (our baseball/softball club) should switch from our current WP solution to one powered by SportsPress. While trying to create a page similar to our current page I noticed one strange thing:

The stats on player’s profile pages are sorted oddly by time created (I assume) and there is no way to give a custom ordering. Also Player Stat and Performance are mixed together. Is this a bug or a feature?

Is there a way of sorting the stats?

This might become a deciding issue for us in the near future as we REALLY like what we see in SportsPress + Baseball.

Couple of hours later and I realise I should have figured this one out before asking. Anyway here is the answer (sorry for talking to myself):

Each statistics (Player Performance and Player Statistics) has a “Post Attributes” Order (on the RHS) which one can specify. All stats are ordered according to this value. The predefined stats have values starting with AB value of 10 and growing in increments of 10.
Both Player Performance and Player Statistics are merged and sorted together.

PROPOSAL: Maybe I’m slow but it would be nice to mention the importance of this parameter somewhere e.g. listing it in the Configure tab along with e.g. Format or Description.

    Hi!

Thanks for your message and for sharing this solution.

That brings a good point actually, we should make it clearer of how this is important in your setup.

    Thanks!

    Kind Regards,
    -Roch
