Will you fix the major problem with the sorting system anytime soon?
Right now if my costumers try to sort products after variation, it’s now sorting from attributes and not from which variations are added to the product, and also it’s not sorting out the out of stock variations.

As it is right now it makes NO sense and our costumers complain a lot about this.

I noticed i’m not the only one with this problem, but i can’t find any answers to when it will be fixed.

@dedagroup Can you provide a specific example of what is happening, with a link and also steps to reproduce what you are referring to?

Additionally, please go to WooCommerce > Status and copy/paste the System Status Report here for us.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Sorry for the delayed answer.
My problem isn’t a specific problem on my website.
But sure you can check my website if you want. Its https://www.riott.dk

Login is not needed. you can check it on any testsite if you want.
The sorting system you see here on the left: https://riott.dk/produkt-kategori/maend/
That is sorting on what attributes we have selected for the items. Not on which variations we have put in.

Thats a mistake in my oppinion.

@dedagroup I still do not follow what you are saying the error is. Are you saying the issue is with the Filter Products by Attribute widgets in the left column? This widget is intended to work off of attributes added to products, not the variations created.

Excactly, and that seem to be a problem, because when will it ever be useful to have a filter that can filter products by attributes if they are not used as a variation? ??

@dedagroup Attributes are additional bits of data associated with products and are available on most product types, not just variable products. This is why the widget works as it does, it looks for the attribute on a product and that’s all.
