This question applies to all my shop pages, but giving a link to one of them. Sorting is not working. I can manually sort products on the Products page. However, that reordering does not show on my website. I have the Appearance/WooCommerce/Product Catalog set to Default, as every single thing I read says to do.

I’ve cleared my cache both in WP and in my browser. I’ve tried over many days to make it work. I can’t believe how frustratingly cumbersome WooCommerce is. Documentation is atrocious.

So on that page I linked to, I want the meter that is all by itself as a product to appear first (it appears last).

I don’t understand at all how Woo decides to sort things. It seems all crazily random.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi @websitende! If I understand correctly, you’re manually sorting your products on the admin-side, and on the public page you linked to, you’re expecting to see the “Satic Dirty Electricity Meter / Line EMI Monitor” appear first. If my understanding is indeed correct, then I can confirm that’s what I’m seeing when I visit your site:

Unless adjusted or overridden by a theme, block settings, or custom code, the default sort order should be alphabetical, ascending (A – Z). However, if in WP Admin > Products > Sorting, you rearranged them, they should appear in that order.

I note you said you cleared your site and browser caches, but it seems like the view may have been stuck somewhere else as well. Hopefully you see the same as I do now.

    Documentation is atrocious.

I appreciate your feedback, and I’d be grateful if you have any specific recommendations to share about how it could have been more helpful to you on this occasion. We’re actively working on improving the documentation, and your input would be valuable.
