Sorting menu items

    Hi

    I have been tring to find how to sort the menu items. At the moment it seems that they are ordered with the last item that was added shows first. This also seems to work for the catergory views.

    Hi,

    When you edit any menu item press the “Screen Options” dropdown menu button located on the top right corner of a page and enable “Post Attributes”. Scroll down and you’ll find an “Order” field in a metabox.

    I tried this, but when I set no.1 it shows last.
    How can I solve this please?

    Hi @thetomas88

    Probably this happens because other menu items has 0 sort order value by default.Please try to set values for all menu items and check the order.
    You can also try using third party plugin like Intuitive Custom Post Order, etc.

    All of my items have set numbers of odred 1 – 8 but it displays 8 as 1st 7 as 2nd and so on.

    That 3rd party plugin you suggested doesnt work with menu items

    We’ll do our best to fix sort order issue in further update release
