sorting links by rating won’t take

  • Hi all,

    I’m trying to sort my link by rating. I rated them all and they are all in one category. I changed the sort order to Order by Rating and clicked filter. That worked. Then I clicked apply and check my blog and it still sorts alphabetically. I went back and forth with it a few times and it always resets to the default of Order by Name. What am I doing wrong? I’m using A child theme, but there is nothing there that addresses link order. Any advice?

    Hey Jeanne,

    I used a hack. It is not recommended and if you do it be aware of the risks. You can modify the function wp_list_bookmarks in bookmark-template.php

    Here is the documentation about the orderby parameter.

    If you found a more civilized way let us know.
