Sorting by timestamp

    Hello,
    since last version(s) the ‘sort by time’ option doesn’t work properly. Photos in my gallery got sorted quite randomly.

    Any change you would have a look and possibly fix this issue?

    Hi, are you using any program to post-process your photos? If so, these programs tend to overwrite the timestamps in the photos ??

    Hi, no post-processing used. We use shared G-drive folder to upload photos from different smartphones. But photos got mixed even from a single source. Worked flawlesly some time ago ??

    Ok, can you please open the photos in your photo viewer and check its metadata? You should see a “Created on” date. If these dates are incorrect, then there’s nothing the plugin can do… If you think the dates are correct but the plugin still displays them in the wrong order, please send some sample photos to me at [email protected].

    Metadata seems to be correct, samples sent via email. Many thanks!:)

    I’m having the same problem – and it has been occurring for over a year now. My image metadata shows a range from 2020 to 2023 (both in the modified and created dates), yet whether I set the order to ascending or descending, my gallery shows the oldest ones first. Changing the time ordering doesn’t affect the gallery. If I switch to ‘sort by name’ I immediately see that change. So it’s just the time stamp issue.
