Sorting by month of date only

    Hi again!

    Still loving your plugin. I have a question about date fields. Is it possible (or can I make it a feature request to be able to) sort a date field by the day and month but ignore the year? For example:

    1 May 1999
    2 May 2006
    3 May 1985

    This may seem an odd request but it would be very useful for us and any organisation that wants to produce lists of birthdays! What do you think? ??

    I’ve had a “partial date” search or sort feature on the list for some time now. It’s one of those features that is a lot more complicated to implement than it sounds, since it’s not possible using the normal methods for searching and sorting…it’s probably not going to happen, sorry.

    Thanks for your reply! I do appreciate the difficulty of doing this and understand. ?? I’ll be excited if you ever manage it but I won’t wait with baited breath.
