Hi once more ?? I’m surely winning the “most annoying user” of the year.

I have read all the forum threads before posting but couldn’t find an answer although I learned about shortcodes I had no clue about.

How to add a page like https://recencio.com/sortable-grid/ with the dropdown boxes. Are pages like https://recencio.com/series/ added with shortcodes?

I tried searching for some documentation there about shortcodes or how to create those pages but didnt find.

    Regards

    Hello again,

For the sortable grid, the shortcode is [rcno-sortable-grid], for the book series page the shortcode is [rcno-tax-list tax="rcno_series"]

You can create them by creating a new page and clicking the ‘Add Listing’ button then picking one, them publishing your page.

    Thanks it worked.

Just to let you know [rcno-sortable-grid] the dropdown boxes can’t be translated.

I only managed to translate “select” with loco plugin.

If i translate “author” the authors dissapear from the dropdown.

“Genre Series Publisher” can’t be translated from loco, in frontend it seems to read the slug instead of the translated term.

For future updates don’t know if it is possible to make the plugin read the label set in recencio/taxonomies instead of the slug.

The dropdown options take their name from the label you used for the taxonomy, so it is not necessary to translate them if you used a word in your own language. So for taxonomies, leave the slug as is, the change the label to the translated word in your language.

    Hi Kemory

My taxonomie labels are translated to my language, the slug is left as it.

link to backend image is but still won’t appear translated.

    Hi, thanks for the update.
For some strange reason I get:

    “Autors” instead of “Autores”
    “Editorials” instead of “Editoriales”

Missing the letter “e” but not dramatic just to let you know.
You can see it in the links above.

For those 2 words add the singular form to the “Uncountable Words” word list under the Advanced tab, do not change the “Disable Pluralization” checkbox.

Then add the plural form of those words as the label for the taxonomy.

Please understand that as an English speaker it is very difficult for me to build for the inconsistencies with pluralizing words in foreign languages. What works for you may break the plugin for another user with a different language

You are a genius, that worked thanks! Yeah I understand perfectly you cant deal with all languages.

    Solved
