    You can apply any styles of your choice to the category key; the HTML is just an unordered list, but there are various method of making that render in multiple columns.

    What do you mean by “sorted by category”? What view of the calendar are you looking at that you would want sorted by category? Pretty much all views of events are sorted by event date/time, and there are no alternate sorting options available.

    There is a shortcode to filter by category, if that’s what you meant.

    thanks for the feedback. I was hoping to allow visitors to toggle a tab when viewing the full calendar to see only one category. I don’t want to restrict the main view, just give choices.

    Looking forward to seeing if you can add a share feature to listings. that would be great. Plugin works great for my project. thanks so much.

    It’s not a tab setup by default, although it could be implemented that way, but the category filter shortcode is documented on the Help screen.
