Hello, on my website https://www.vk-wandel.de I have a local news service is divided into several categories.
Now I have within the categories the problem that here, instead of being sorted by the date, the contributions to ABC.
So far I have not found where I can change this.
I use your extension for listings this sorted logically by ABC (it is an Business Directory for local businesses ), perhaps your extension has a setting overwritten? Because: If I disable it, the normal WP-Categories are sorted by Date how i would like it.
So: Where I can change the Settings to have sorting by ABC at my Businessdirectory, and at the normal Categories by Date?
Sorry for my English, I used the translator and the best I could correct the errors. Vut this is just my School English. ??

Don’t worry about your English, It’s better than my German! From what I understand, you would like the business directory listings to be sorted alphabetically, and the rest of your site’s posts sorted by date. The free version of Simple Directory does not support this for the moment. The newest version of Simple Directory Pro, which will be available for download in a few days will solve this problem for you.

    I hope this helps

    Hi there,

I have the same problem, and I think it’s kind of major problem : the plugin impact native worpdress behaviour. Posts archives SHOULD be sorted by date, and of course, a listing directory would be sorted in alphabetical order.

Without upgrading to Premium version, I think you should reconsider the way you display listings within the plugin, so that it shouldn’t impact normal blog archive page of wordpress.

Or if you have any code correction we could add in our functions.php or archive-listing.php template, that would do the job ??

    Thx
