sort order of automatic event listings

  • in my automatic weekly newsletter, events are displayed based on when they were posted, not the date of the event. I’d like them to display in chronological order by date of the event, not when it was posted. Is there a setting for this that I can’t find?

    Unfortunately MailPoet doesn’t support custom fields of custom post types, like event dates, for now. Its something under our radar, but not planned yet.

    All the posts inserted on a newsletter will be ordered by the published date.

    Understood. But the event order is reversed from chronological. In other words, not logical. Last first is not logical in terms of events. Reverse this simple logic for events only.

    We can’t reverse logic, because we treat all content as posts.

    The best way is to create a standard newsletter and add the events in your specific order.
