Sort Library by Title by Default?

Thanks, but I believe that only applies to the public site. My clients wants to see the items in the library sorted by title. Like, when you hover over the Catablog plugin in the lefthand menu, and select Library. They would like the list view there to sort by title, no order.

If you click on the Title hyperlink at the very top of the column it will sort the items by title.

I’m aware of that, but that takes about 10 seconds each time. My client is constantly going back and forth between the Library and the items. Each time they go back to the Library, it reverts to sorting by the order column, not the title. I’m trying to save them a ton of headache by just having the Library sort by title always.

Okay I understand but that might have to do with the server resources, the amount of plugins etc. For example how much memory is allocated to the website?

I’m not sure. It’s your typical shared server space by Dreamhost. Also, I’m not sure why server resources would affect the sort of the Library?

Hi, it depends on the number of images you have in the plugin. It also depends if you are on a shared server.

For example when I was on a shared server every time that I carried out work in my blog everything was slow. That is because there are many websites in the same server and probably working on there websites at the same time. That uses server resources. Then I changed to a pro account and things started to work smoother. Now I have my own VPS and everything flies ??
