Sort in header not working

When I try and sort the Email list by clicking the column headers the direction arrow changes but the sort order doesn’t change. None of the columns can be sorted. Can this be fixed / added? Thanks.

Though the page reloads when I click the header and the arrow changes direction, the table doesn’t change.
