Sort Custom Post by Custom Date field…

  • I’m using a plugin from Modern Tribe for Events that is bundled with the Avada theme. Is anyone aware of a way to save the Order of the Events? I click on sort by Start Date. Looks good in the Events view but it does not save this order. Is there any way to do this? I’m trying to use Events in a Revolution slider. The Start Date is not exposed to the slider so you can’t order the events from within the slider. So, I was thinking maybe I could do it another way. I found this plugin “Intuitive Custom Post Order”. It let’s you manually drag & drop within the view to arrange post/events in a desired order. But, it doesn’t work for sorting by dates. Anyhow… any ideas would be welcome for sorting posts by Start Date as shown in the attached pic. Thanks!
