Sort comments by likes

  • I understand you’re working on a pro version. I’d love to buy a pro version! I’ll be keeping an eye out.

    One feature I’m really after is being able to sort comments by likes. The idea is that I’d like to be able to ask my community for suggestions, such as “what should our slogan be?” and that the top vote getters could be sorted in descending order, preferably by default. Ideally, only the first responses would be sorted by votes and their attending comments (ie the comments threaded as replies) would follow them.

    Sure we’ll add this feature soon, and this will be added in the free version, not in pro. We think this is a part of the voting feature and this should be in the free version.

    I’m still trying to find a way to sort comments by votes – If I were going to play around with the code to try and force a ‘sort by votes’ (see WPeddit, for example), is there a good place to begin?

    I’m sorry but we’re currently working on wpDiscuz performance and security. Those are very important. I think the sorting by votes will come after those. As I said above it hard to implement so we even can’t suggest a good place to begin.
