Sort by Version: File Date

    Displaying a list of downloads, using ‘date’ as ‘orderby’, appears to order downloads by post date. Is there any way to order downloads by ‘Version: File Date’?

    It’s currently not possible to change the order based on the “Version: File Date” as we use standard WordPress query which uses the post (download) date.

    It might be possible to customize this by creating your own shortcode but it is beyond the scope of our support and you will need to hire 3rd party developers.
