    Could you tell me please more details information for my consideration?

    I can understanding: Your said to “order” and “order field” is not the Descending/Ascending.

    Thank you for your screenshot.
    Maybe I can understand it and please let me confirm.
    Default Post is no filed to Order field.
    Other word: order is “0” of all post.
    But you had setting to order on the other plugins.

    In that case, I think that it becomes such sort target.

    Yes, your screenshot would be perfect.

    Order is 0 by default. I set Order to 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. manually or using the other plug-in.

    Then I want Category to sort by that order, like your screenshot.

    I tried to add field to Order(Page Attributes) and I think it to work.

    I think I spoke to soon. The whole site froze while I was changing some user order fields, and now every single page is redirecting to the home page. Help!!! I’ve tried deleting the plug-in, but that hasn’t fixed it.

    It seems it may have been a hiccup with the web host. I’m not inclined to test that theory myself, but if you can’t reproduce it, you can probably ignore it.

    I think that it happened to redirecting is your activating Plugins/Themes.
    And I think whether specific Plugin/Theme.
    In other words: Try it back to the default Theme.

    No, no visible error. Everything just keep redirecting back to the home page.

    I’ve just asked the host for more details and they said: The LiteSpeed license didn’t carry over properly to the new hardware and after a while it reset back to Apache. There are some things LiteSpeed handles better than Apache resulting in the errors. We identified the licensing issue and restored the license but caching could cause some people to see errors for longer until they clear their browser cache or the cache expires.

    Where does the plug-in record the changes? Uninstalling the plug-in doesn’t undo the settings.

    The sort order works great, but some of my custom pages aren’t showing up under their categories and I can’t see why. They’re categories I edited with your plug-in, so I want to remove all trace to see if that fixes it.

    Scratch that! Found it! It was a plug-in called Category Tag Page that was causing my disappearing posts. I’ll carry on testing your plug-in but it looks like it’s working great!
