Yes, everything correct here. While most Extensions have been retired and converted into Premium plan modules, this particular Extension still exists on its own (until I can make up my mind on where to integrate it in the best way for everybody). So, reactivating and using it is the correct thing to do here ??

Thanks for the answer – that’s not ideal because I was hoping only have one plugin with the purchase. Is this the only additional plugin where missing?

Hi Cornelia,

there are very few other ones, which sometimes only change one special setting for some users. If you weren’t using those before, that’s nothing to worry about though.

Can you maybe explain why you don’t find this ideal? From a performance point of view (if that’s what you are worried about) it makes absolutely no difference. (It’s not the number of plugins on a site that can cause performance issues, but how well these plugins are coded.)

I try to use plugins for wordpress as little as possible, not because of performance but because of attacks for vulnerable plugins on my website.
I want to keep the risk as small as possible.

ah, ok, I see. Essentially the same argument holds for this as well. ?? It doesn’t matter if the code is in one plugin or another. And here, the integration of the sorting features is only a very little bit of code, so that it’s absolutely unlikely that there’s a security risk in this. And if there were a risk, it would be the same as if that code were in the main plugin.

But as mentioned above, maybe I’ll find a good way to integrate this directly into TablePress in the future!
