    When I try to access the blog home page, I get the following message…

    Sorry!
    You do not have permission to access this location.

    The url is https://mortgageguyblog.com

    I can access the control panel and posts. I even upgraded to the latest version doing so. It appears I cannot access only the home page.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    The problem was isolated to a theme. The default theme worked fine. So I delete the problematic theme and then re-uploaded and activated it. Now all is good.
