• Hello!

I am the only admin on this website. Recently I’ve started a project to archive and delete old posts. I’ve spent a few hours today deleting old posts. I deleted over 200 posts from 2009 to 2014. I have been doing it systematically by year and every so often emptying the trash (permanently deleting them). I arrived at 2015 and began the same process. Suddenly, when I select the posts I want to delete and select “move to trash” under “Bulk Actions”, now I receive the message “Sorry, you are not allowed to move this item to the Trash.” I have not been able to delete a single post more! What happened? Within the space of about 5 or 10 minutes I suddenly lost the ability to delete posts. What changed? What can I do to continue having the permissions to delete these posts?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I’m sorry it’s taken me a while to come back to this. Thanks for your reply. I really don’t want to have to use a plugin to solve this issue. I had no problem deleting directly the first 200 posts. Now I still can’t delete any. This tells me that something changed. I would rather understand what changed and resolve it than just ignore the change and install a plugin to force it to do what I should be able to continue doing anyway. I hope this makes sense!

Can anyone shed light on this issue?!
