I’ve been trying to go to ‘Settings’ under the plugin and it keeps telling me ‘Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.’ Why can’t I access the settings page as WP admin?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I am trying to create a new (first) popup.

    Hello @myntillae,

May I know if you purchase a paid extension? If yes, you need to follow the instructions below to properly install and activate the plugins.

To install and activate your purchased package please follow the instructions below:
Please have the core plugin (free) installed first (it should be version 4.1.14).
If you already have it, ignore this step, but if you don’t, check out the tutorial below.

How to install the Popup Builder plugin —?https://help.popup-builder.com/en/article/how-to-install-the-popup-builder-plugin-1hoof9z/
Once all the steps are complete, you can activate your licenses to get updates and support.

Next, check if you have a Single or Bundle extension. You need to add/upload the zip file of the paid extension to your WP Plugins and activate. We are using the basic version of the plugin. It’s weird because the Popup Builder isn’t appearing as a menu option on the lefthand side of the WP admin dashboard, so I’m trying to figure out if there’s some conflict or some sort. But every time I click on ‘Settings’ underneath the plugin name on the plugins page, it tells me I don’t have permissions to view that page (https://latterdaysaintmag.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=popupbuilder&page=sgpbSettings).

    Hello there,

Can you verify if you have the core plugin (free) installed (it should be version 4.1.14)?

Please make sure the plugin is Activated. If you still have the same issue. To figure that out, may we ask you to deactivate all the plugins you have and in case the issue is fixed, by activating the plugins one by one, locating which plugin causes the conflict.
With the same logic, please, try to check the conflict between our plugin and the installed themes.
