Sorry to say
-
I am sorry to say, but I found this plugin’s design capabilities awkward. The design required you to select a template as the frame work for your popup design. Customization then is essential as these templates are generic and will probably not suit your branding.
Fine. But then customising the template is a difficult process. I tried to input my own image and copy as the type face positioning through their interface was uncontrollable (or incomprehensible). My png file bumped their subscriber input fields to resize inexplicably. And that is just maybe the point. Presumably Supsystic have their reasons for a framework, but then not to explain the paramaters through their support documents is annoying. Suspsystic are not alone this way. Many of the plugins I work with could use a technical writers to write guides.
I bought this plugin for its IP targeting (countries). But publishing artwork you like or represents your brand is equally important.
The point here is to give Supsystic feedback and push them to improve their gear. I will say this. While i have my gripes with the Plugin Sypsystic have been very supportive and helpful and that goes a long way as solving problems is the goal of support. I use the Plugin, it has a lot of features. Maybe my frustration is down to my own inabilities – I need to know more html, css and a thousand other things….. or hire someone.
