Hey @wctfernando, where are you trying to upload this CSV to? Are you using an e-commerce plugin like WooCommerce, or trying to upload the file directly to your media library?

This is a problem introduced in the security patches for 5.0.1 that should be resolved (soon) in 5.0.3.

CSV file can include macros so that is the reason. If you make a package (zip, tar.gz, etc.), you should be able to import a file.

We are having this same issue load .xlsm files. Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons. Downloaded WP Add Mime Type plugin and this mime type is there and allowed.

xlsm= application/vnd.ms-excel.sheet.macroEnabled.12

Thanks, I saw your earlier post about that. We did update for 5.0.2 today and still had the problem so I wasn’t sure when you said version .1 and fixed in .3 that you meant .2
