Sorry, there's no items to display. on 5.2.1 and later

  • Howdy. Since the version 5.2.1 I’ve been having trouble with a site that uses this plugin. They have a citation list that works in 5.1, but trying to upgrade the plugin leads to the message “Sorry, there’s no items to display.”

    I’ve troubleshot this to the SQL query that fetches results in shortcode.php.

    The query that doesn’t work includes a WHERE clause for “wp_xx_zotpress_zoteroRelItemColl.collection_key=’xx'” which returns no results from that table because the particular collection_key does not seem to be found.

    Removing this clause appears to returns results. Are you able to shed any light on this issue?

    Have you re-imported? One of the versions of Zotpress had extensive database changes that require re-import or citations would not display properly.

    Let me know if you have and the problem persists.

    Thanks for responding. I tried that reimport for all accounts but I get the same results. I still don’t see the relevant key in the collection_key column.
